The Guild Education Program

The Guild offers many low cost classes to its members.  Classes include a variety of subjects ranging from demonstration and one day hands-on to multi-day events where you build a complete project such as a table. 

Our classes are divided into major groups, represented below.  Each group is a subset of the total calendar at the bottom.

Basics of Fine Woodworking

A series of classes providing a broad exposure to woodworking techniques

Hands-on Fundamentals

Learn a variety of basic skills through hands-on, beginner projects

Project Development

Moving beyond simple basics, learn to design and build your own projects

Examples: Advanced Hand Tools. Chair Making. Design. Advanced Machine Use.

Carving, Finishing, Woodturning

The Next Level

Learn advanced woodworking in a two year program from intermediate to mastery level skill
