Chair SIG  The Chair SIG is a group of members interested in designing or making chairs.  The interests likely range from those with no experience to members with considerable expertise.  The only requirement to join is that you commit to subscribing to the Chair Forum, post on it, respond to other posts and generally share your knowledge.

Special Interest Groups SIGS (Special Interest Groups) can be formed around any topic, or by members in a local area.  They can have short or long lives.  They are self-organizing, and while they exist within the framework of the Guild, they are autonomous.
