The Guild participates in a number of art and woodworking shows each year.  These shows provide opportunities to present woodworking to the general public, promote membership and provide a venue for our members to display and sell their products.  Watch the newsletter for details about show details as the time becomes closer.

Fees to exhibit vary with the event, including amount, deposits and payment schedule.  The Guild accepts payment by cash, check or Paypal.

Upcoming events

    • 17 Aug 2013
    • Clackamas County Fair Grounds
The Guild will be hosting a tool box building event Saturday, August 17, 2013.

Larry Wade is looking for volunteers to help build tool box kits, a simple job for beginning woodworkers, and a little help with the event.  He'll be there too.  The assembled tool box will look similar to the photo.  You cut five pieces of wood and drill two holes for the handle, and a few nail pilot holes.  (I'd build a jig to align them quickly and consistently.)

For volunteers to help build the kits:
    • We're looking for total of 100 kits.
    • All materials will be provided including the design.
    • Contact Larry Wade to help with the project

For volunteers willing to help at the Fair:
    • Our event is Saturday, August 17
    • 4 or 5 volunteers needed
    • Volunteers will get a pass for free parking and entry into the Fair. Guest extra.
    • Volunteers must be willing to stay at the Fair all day or until we run out of kits.  That probably won't take long
    • Contact Jim Madaras to sign up

Fair details are available at the Clackamas County  website
